Terms and Conditions

ORDERING INFORMATION

Orders can be placed via our website, this service is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The shopping cart software allows you to add items to your basket as you browse our site. You are then given the opportunity to check and modify your order before confirming it and finally arranging payment and delivery. You will be asked to acknowledge that you have read and accepted our terms and conditions which are outlined on this page before your order is confirmed. When your credit card details are requested you should enter the correct information and the payment will then be authorised online. We would prefer you to make payment online in our secure online payment facility with Nochex but, if for some reason, you are not happy about doing this please place your order online and select "Send Payment by Post". You can then send us a cheque or money order in the post .
Cheques and postal orders in GBP only, made payable to Fayres Fair and
crossed A/C Payee.

N.B. Goods will not be despatched until funds have cleared.


DELIVERY

Delivery is normally within 5 working days (not including weekends and bank holidays) of receipt of order. If you require an order before a specified date we suggest that you allow an extra 2 days on top of our standard delivery time to comply with your request.
In the event that no-one is available to receive the delivery, a card will be left for the recipient providing details of how delivery can be re-scheduled or how to collect the parcel from the local depot of the Royal Mail. After the first attempt at delivery has been made, it then becomes the recipient's responsibility to rearrange delivery or to collect the parcel. If a parcel is returned to us as undelivered or uncollected, we will refund the cost of your order excluding the delivery charge and a 15% restocking charge. Please note that items will not be left without a signature.
In the unlikely event that your purchase fails to arrive in perfect condition, please advise us by telephone or email immediatley and we will be happy to arrange either an exchange or a refund for any item lost or damaged in transit. If an item is found to be damaged on delivery it must be returned to us unused in its original packaging within 30 days of receipt [food items must be returned within 7 days of receipt]. Amounts refunded will be credited back to the purchasers credit/debit card or by cheque if that is how the original payment was made.


GUARANTEE

We offer a no quibble 30 day guarantee. We have taken great care to source good quality products. However, if you are not completely satisfied with any item you have purchased from us, either because the item is damaged or because of an error on our part and evidence is supplied to verify this; we will resend the correct goods free of charge. Sometimes we may have to make a substitution if the item shown is not available. Substitutions will always be equal or greater in value than the original item. Should you be unhappy with the substitution you are entitled to return the item/s to us for a refund.
We are unable to refund the cost of return postage. For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service to return the item to us. If we do not receive the item back from you, we may arrange for collection of the item from you at your cost.


ORDER CONFIRMATION

If you place your order on the website you will be sent an email with your order details. 


POSTAGE AND PACKING

Your order will be despatched by Royal Mail. Postal costs are dependent on the size and weight of the order and will be added prior to checkout.


PRIVACY POLICY

As we expand our range we may send you information about this by e mail. We will never pass your information on to third parties.


SECURITY

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation prior to despatch: If cancellation is received before the goods are despatched we will refund the total cost of your order.
Cancellation after despatch: By law you have the right to withdraw from your purchase of any item within seven working days of the day after the item is delivered to you (cooling off period).  If you change your mind about your order we will be happy to refund the full purchase price of the goods provided notice of cancellation is received by us and the goods are returned within the cooling off period. The goods must be returned to us


ORDERING FROM OUTSIDE THE UK

We are able to take orders from anywhere in the world for delivery in the UK.. If you are based outside the UK and wish to have an item delivered to a UK address, order as normal. Your credit card company will automatically convert the amount shown in pounds sterling into your local currency.


COMPLAINTS

We hope you will tell others about us if you are happy with our service, and tell us if you're not! We place great importance on the complete satisfaction of our customers which is why we take great care to only select the highest quality products from reputable suppliers and aim to offer a service second to none. If for any reason you do have a complaint, please tell us. We treat all complaints very seriously and aim to deal with them fairly, promptly and confidentially. All complaints will be acknowledged in writing within 48 hours and resolved within a timescale notified to you.

All original images/artwork on the Fayres Fair website are the property of Frances Lloyd and should not be reproduced, copied or published without the prior consent of Frances Lloyd.


PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGERY

In some of the gift selections there is a choice for one or more of the items. To help with this choice the options are included in the photograph. Your gift will, of course, only include the item you have chosen.
